Cairo Bank Uganda Limited was incorporated on 11th July 1994, formerly known as Cairo International Bank, owned by three leading Egyptian banks: Banque Du Caire, Bank Misr and National Bank of Egypt. In 2019 it became a fully owned subsidiary of Banque Du Caire (BDC), providing an entry point into the COMESA market. Regulated by the Bank of Uganda, its vision is to become the preferred SME bank in Uganda by providing excellent customer service and products that grow the SME segment.
