Job Details

Grace Family Health Centre is seeking dedicated Clinical Officers to provide comprehensive clinical services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and health education while ensuring high standards of patient care. This is a full-time position based at Banda - Nakisunga, Mukono District with 2 vacancies available. The role works closely with nurses, laboratory, pharmacy, and other healthcare professionals. Work Hours: 8 hours per day.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess patients, take medical histories, and conduct physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage common medical conditions.
• Prescribe and administer appropriate treatment within professional scope.
• Provide preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare services.
• Refer patients requiring specialized care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Provide health education and counselling to patients and families.
• Work closely with nurses, laboratory, pharmacy, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or equivalent.
• Valid registration and practicing licence with the relevant professional council.
• Relevant clinical experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
• Minimum experience of 12 months preferred.
