Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly, including both manual and automatic transmission vehicles as assigned.
  • Ensure assigned vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, roadworthy and fueled at all times.
  • Observe all traffic laws, regulations and company safety policies.
  • Transport staff, goods and pharmaceutical products to designated locations on schedule.
  • Perform basic vehicle checks, report any mechanical faults promptly and coordinate servicing.
  • Maintain accurate trip records, mileage and fuel consumption logs.
  • Support logistics and operations team with deliveries and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

  • Uganda Certificate of Education (U.C.E) - high school level (Level of Education: high school) - Required
  • Valid driving permit (must be valid) - Required
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic cars is essential
  • Must be a Ugandan citizen
  • Minimum experience of 12 months (1 year)
  • Good knowledge of Kampala roads, traffic rules and defensive driving
  • Reliable, disciplined, punctual and with good communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time (8 hours) and flexible when required
