Portfolio Associate (Southwest)

Emata is seeking a Portfolio Associate (Southwest) based in Mbarara, Uganda, to keep dairy loans flowing and portfolio healthy across Southwest Uganda. This is a full-time role in the Commercial team. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Keep loans flowing: set up loan products, run KYC and CRB checks, make pre-disbursement calls, and get most loans disbursed within 15 minutes.
• Protect portfolio quality: keep PAR within target, chase on-time repayments, and reconcile every shilling against the repayment schedule.
• Spot trouble early: flag repayment issues before they grow and work them through with clients and farmers.
• Grow our lendables: drive MIS usage and keep farmer data clean and complete.
• Keep insurance tidy: make sure cover is in place where relevant and claims are settled without delay.
• Support launches & partners: help prepare (re)launches in the field, and keep partnership reporting and status overviews up to date.
