Joint Medical Store (JMS) is a leading Private Not-for-Profit organization established in 1979 by the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau (UCMB) and the Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB) under the Trustees Incorporation Act. Licensed by the National Drug Authority (NDA) to import, warehouse, export and distribute medicines and healthcare supplies across Uganda, JMS serves over 3,000 health facilities nationwide. JMS operates an ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System and contributes to the health commodity value chain through procurement, warehousing and distribution, quality assurance, Bio Medical Engineering, manufacturing (Oxylife medical gas, CliniSafe sanitizer and hygiene products), and health systems strengthening and capacity building.
