One Acre Fund is a nonprofit social enterprise founded in 2006 that equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers across nine countries in Sub-Saharan Africa with high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, affordable credit, agronomic training and agricultural services. Its Uganda program, founded in 2014 and headquartered in Jinja, serves over 34,000 farmers in eastern Uganda with a focus on sustainable agriculture, coffee, trees and nurseries.
